Benefits of the Daily Energy routine for Better Sleep! With Georgia Barnwell and Carol Richard

In this video Georgia shares the benefits of Donna Eden’s daily energy routine for sleep issues.

Here is the order of the exercises in the Donna Eden Energy routine.
Four thumps:
Cheekbones (stomach meridian, grounding, brings the energy down from above)
Collar bones (kidney meridian, brings clarity in energy flow and brings energy up from below)
Thymus (stimulates the immune system)
Spleen meridian underarms (helps us metabolize food, energy, emotions)
Cross shoulder pull:
Squeeze muscle on the shoulder and pull the hand down to the opposite hip. Gets our energy moving crosswise.
Cross crawl:
Right hand to left knee, left hand to the right knee. It allows our energy to cross over.
Wayne Cook posture:
Seated. Right ankle over the left knee. Left hand over the right ankle. Right hand around the bottom of the left foot. Inhale and pull the foot in towards the body, exhale and release. This unscrambles our brains and helps us get clarity.
Standing. Arms stretched out straight in front, turning palms away from each other. Right hand over left, lace fingers, and tuck clasped hands under chin. Unfurl and left hand over right, clasp hands, and tuck under the chin.
Then after 3 to 5 breaths, steeple hands and place thumbs on the third eye. 3 to 5 breaths. Then dig fingers into the forehead at the third eye and drag fingers across to temples. Breathing out.
Crown pull:
Dig fingers into the top of the head at the scalp line and pull apart an inch or so. Continue around the skull to the back of the neck, hang on shoulders and then shake it off.
Touching heaven and earth:
Rub hands together, place on thighs, bring hands to prayer position and breathing in, reach up with left and down with the right. Flatten palms, look up or down, whichever feels best. Feel the stretch. Come back to the center as you breathe out. Now up with right and down with left. Do this once or twice.
As you come back down, bend over as far as is comfortable. Feel the stretch in your back. Take 3 deep breaths.
As you come up, make figure 8s in front of your body from feet to above head and bring arms down to thighs.
Zip up:
Bring hands from pubic bone up the center of the body to the lower lip. Seal up your energy and throw away the key. Helps us seal our energy field and not take on external energies.
Hookup:
One finger in the navel and with the other hand, one finger on the third eye. Press in and pull up. Gets our central and governing meridians running in the right direction.
